Jack Sugden (aka actor Clive Hornby) has died.
I grew up with Emmerdale Farm, as was.
Jack, Fraser Hines (Joe), Annie, Seth Armstrong, Amos and Mr Wilkes.
I'll raise a glass for you at't Woolpack tonight.

Oh no...ne'er the same, will it be! I spent many a year on my grandmother's sofa in Wales, watching life outside the valleys through the imagery of Emmerdale Farm. Was always a refreshing change from Pobol y Cwm.
Was it dubbed in Welsh? Would have lost something if it was...

LOL and ROFL must be blogger thingies. My text-mad, Bebo mad sons looked at me strangely when I posted ROFL to them. What other strange ones do we use...answers on a postcard please.
Thanks to loads of hols in west Wales, my kids always say 'Araf' when the SLOW sign appears in teh road...sad, eh.
